ADMISSION RULES FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons who are granted refugee status or asylum in the Republic of Belarus have the right to take part in the competition on getting secondary specialized education in the state institutions of secondary specialized education at the expense of the republican and/or local budgets if they obtain that level of education at the expense of the budget for the first time. Or in state or private secondary specialized educational institutions on a paid basis at the expense of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, natural persons or own funds of a citizen.
2. Citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan have the right to participate in the competition for specialized secondary education in state and private secondary specialized educational institutions on the conditions provided for persons referred to in paragraph 1 or come to state and private secondary specialized educational institutions on the conditions provided in paragraph 3 of this Regulation.
3. Foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter the secondary specialized educational institutions for obtaining secondary vocational education:
at the expense of the budget or on a paid basis - in accordance with international treaties of the Republic of Belarus. The number of places for admission is established by international agreements;
on a fee-paying basis - according to the results of the final attestation of the educational programme for the preparation of persons for admission to educational institutions in the Republic of Belarus. Admission on the specialties is carried out in excess of the established admission quotas;
on a fee-paying basis - according to the results of the interview in the secondary specialized educational institutions, establishing the level of their proficiency in the language of the educational process, sufficient to master the educational program of secondary special education. Admission is in excess of the established admission quotas.
4. Foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing outside of the Republic of Belarus and entering the secondary specialized educational institutions for obtaining secondary vocational education on account of study grants are admitted on the basis of the results of selection carried out in the order established by the Government of the Republic of Belarus.
5. Admission of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship for obtaining secondary vocational education is carried out on the basis of the agreement on training a specialist with secondary vocational education from the budgetary funds, agreement on training a specialist with secondary vocational education from grants for training, agreement on training a specialist with secondary vocational education on a paid basis, signed by the secondary specialized educational institutions with foreign citizens and stateless persons (legal representatives of foreign juvenile and stateless persons upon presentation of documents confirming the status of a legal representative of a foreign juvenile and stateless person) or with representatives of foreign citizens and stateless persons acting on the basis of a power of attorney certified by a notary or an authorised official, and with the legal entity paying the tuition fee (if any)
SPECIALTIES IN WHICH THE COLLEGE PROVIDES TRAINING
(Full-time education)
The college provides training of specialists with secondary specialized education in the following specialties:
- 2-02 03 08 FOREIGN LANGUAGE (English, German).
Qualification - "Teacher".
- 2-01 01 01 PRESCHOOL EDUCATION.
Qualification: Pre-school Teacher.
- 2-01 02 01 ELEMENTARY EDUCATION.
Qualification - "Teacher".
- 2-89 01 TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY
Qualification - "Travel agent. Tour guide".
- 2-03 01 31 MUSIC EDUCATION
Qualification - "Teacher. Music director at preschool institutions".
DEADLINES FOR ACCEPTING DOCUMENTS
at the expense of the budget in accordance with the international agreements of the Republic of Belarus - till 3 August ;
on a paid basis:
in accordance with the international agreements of the Republic of Belarus –
till 3 August
according to the results of the final certification upon mastering the content of the educational programmes to prepare persons for enrolment in educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus till 3August
according to the results of an interview at a specialized secondary educational institution, determining their level of proficiency in the language in which the educational process is conducted, is sufficient to enable them to master the content of the educational programmes of specialized secondary educational institution till 15 October
THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT FOR APPLYING TO THE COLLEGE.
LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION
Foreign applicants and stateless persons (their representatives) submit the following documents to the admission board of the secondary specialized educational institution:
1. an application addressed to the head of the secondary specialized educational institution in the form established by the Ministry of Education with an indication of the specialty;
2. certificate (document of education) indicating the subjects studied and the marks obtained in them (points) (if these documents are recognized in the Republic of Belarus)
3. opinion of the medical advisory board, issued by the territorial health care organization of the Republic of Belarus (after undergoing a compulsory medical examination), confirming the absence of medical contraindications for studying in the Republic of Belarus;
4. medical certificate confirming the state of health and the absence of HIV infection, issued by an official health authority of the country of the candidate for training;
5. original (copy) of the birth certificate;
6. 6 photographs (3 x 4 cm);
7. certificate of graduation from a preparatory department, preparatory course of the secondary specialized educational institution.
The above documents in a foreign language shall be accompanied by the translation into Belarusian or Russian, certified by a notary.
SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION WITH THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ELECTRONIC FORM
1. Download and complete the Application for admission.
2. Attach to the application the documents required for admission in electronic form (hard-copy document converted through scanning or photographing).
The list of documents, necessary for admission:
- Copy of the civil passport
- Copy of the international passport
- Copy of the birth certificate
- Copy of the document of education with the indication of subjects studied and marks obtained in them if the documents are recognized in the Republic of Belarus.
- Medical opinion about the state of health (from the country of residence)
- HIV certificate (from the country of residence).
The documents listed above, done in a foreign language should be accompanied by the translation into Belarusian or Russian certified by a notary.
3. Download and fill in the OBLIGATION document in which the foreigner undertakes, within the first month after entering the country:
- submit to the educational institution the original documents necessary for
admission;
- undergo a compulsory medical examination which confirms the absence of medical contraindications for studying in the Republic of Belarus.
Send the documents listed in points 1-3 in the form of an electronic e-mail to int@brsu.by, oms@brsu.brest.by in the form of archived file.
In the electronic message indicate the mobile phone number as well as the e-mail address for feedback.
ENROLMENT OF APPLICANTS
Foreign applicants and stateless persons who have no certificates of completion of preparatory departments, preparatory courses and have the knowledge of the language of instruction shall be interviewed for admission to the educational institution. The procedure of the interview is established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
The necessary condition for admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons to the secondary specialized educational institutions is availability of an identity document, visa (if required) and compulsory health insurance agreement executed in the order established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
COST OF EDUCATION FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS in academic year 2021-2022 - $1600 per year.
ALL THE FOREIGN CITIZENS WHO ARE ENROLLED FOR THE PREPARATORY COURSES OR STUDYING AT THE COLLEGE, ARE PROVIDED WITH A HOSTEL.
Cost of accommodation in the hostel is $35 per month.
